Singapore State Cemetery

It is also to interesting to note that just beside the war cemetery (like literally beside), the Singapore State Cemetery can also be found. This cemetery is exclusively reserved for the burial of people who have contributed greatly to Singapore in their lifetime and as of today, only 2 graves can be found on this plot of land. The first is of our country’s first President and Second Yang di-Pertuan Negara, Encik Yusof bin Ishak while the second is for our country's second President, Mr Benjamin Sheares. Imagine being buried right next to Singapore’s First President! Although you would have already passed on, I bet you would feel so honoured! to be buried beside one of Singapore’s legends!
