Here, we look to the history of the Singapore-Malaysian Railway, which has served both Singapore and Malaysia alike since its opening in 1903 and has accumulated over 100 years of service in the process....

WARTIME KRANJI
The Last Train...

You may know Kranji as the place where farms in Singapore are located, or where Singaporeans flock to to board a bus towards Malaysia, but did you know that there is more to Kranji than that?

Although we do not know much of Kranji in the 19th century, it has been recorded that there were not only extensive gambier and pepper plantations in the regions, there were many, MANY, Chu Kangs....
